The experience

Phones keep secrets. The TV owns the room.

Step 1

The television reveals the case

Shared evidence, chapter progression, timing, and major case developments appear on the TV or laptop.

Step 2

Your phone knows your secrets

Each player receives private facts, personal objectives, evidence reactions, and decisions.

Step 3

The room decides who to trust

Players question one another, defend themselves, build theories, and make a final accusation.

Host requirements

Serious hosts only. No mystery experience needed.

The host should be comfortable organizing the group. Some applicants may be invited to an observed or recorded session, but recording is optional unless explicitly agreed separately.

No applicant is required to consent to marketing use as a condition of ordinary playtest participation.

  • 6-8 adult players preferred
  • One phone per player
  • One TV, laptop, or compatible shared display
  • Stable internet connection
  • Approximately 2.5 uninterrupted hours
  • A quiet enough environment for discussion
  • Completion of the post-game host survey
  • Encourage every player to complete short feedback

We review applications manually. Selected hosts get setup and scheduling instructions by email. No purchase, credit card, or public sharing is required.

Applying does not grant game access. The Manor at Midnight stays unreleased until human playtests prove the night works.
