How Killer Party collects, uses, shares, and protects customer information.
Who operates Killer Party
Killer Party is owned and operated by Kevin Builds Brands LLC. References to "Killer Party," "we," "us," or "our" mean the Killer Party service operated by Kevin Builds Brands LLC unless a policy says otherwise.
What we collect
We collect information you give us, such as your email address, name, waitlist signup, marketing consent, support messages, feedback, and account recovery requests.
When checkout is enabled, Shopify processes orders and may share order details we need to unlock purchases, such as customer email, product, order ID, payment status, refund status, and purchased case entitlements.
When you use the game, we may collect room codes, player names or aliases, selected character seats, game progress, votes, host actions, feedback, device/browser details, and security logs.
What we do not collect
We do not intentionally collect full payment card numbers. Payment processing is handled by Shopify and its payment providers.
We do not ask players to submit sensitive personal details in gameplay, feedback, or support messages.
Killer Party is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
How we use information
We use information to operate the service, manage waitlist and marketing signups, deliver account recovery codes, unlock purchased games, run game rooms, provide support, prevent fraud or abuse, improve the product, and comply with legal obligations.
We may use non-personal creative instructions, pack descriptions, and prompts to generate or improve fictional game content, art, clues, and audio.
Service providers
We use service providers to host the app, process purchases, store data, send emails, generate creative assets, manage internal documentation, and operate the product.
Current or planned providers include Shopify, Vercel, Neon/Postgres, Resend, Fal.ai, ElevenLabs, Google Drive, and GitHub. They may process information only as needed to provide services to us.
Marketing email
If you opt in, we may send early access, launch timing, product updates, and game release emails.
Marketing emails will identify Killer Party as the sender and include an unsubscribe method. Account, purchase, and security emails are not marketing emails.
Retention
Waitlist and marketing records are kept until you unsubscribe, request deletion, or we no longer need them.
Purchase and entitlement records are kept while your account exists and as needed for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute, and legal purposes.
Email login codes expire quickly and are deleted, rotated, or made unusable after use or expiration.
Gameplay rooms and logs may be deleted or anonymized after a reasonable operating, support, security, and QA period.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal information by contacting us.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of certain sale or sharing, limit certain sensitive data use, and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information.
No internet or email-based system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure because email verification can control access to your Killer Party account.
