FAQ

The questions people ask before party night.

Start here for player count, phones, accounts, setup, content, and purchase expectations.

Does someone have to sit out as host?

No. One buyer starts the room, but the game is built so the shared TV and player phones carry the structure.

Does the host know the killer?

The host does not need to read the solution before the party. The game handles private roles and the final reveal.

Do players need accounts?

Guests join the room by code. Buyer account and purchase access stay separate from guest joining.

Can we play with seven or nine people?

The Manor at Midnight is designed for exactly eight players. Other table sizes belong in future packs or test modes.

Do we need to print anything?

No. The standard experience is phone and TV first. Optional print extras can come later.

How do we connect to the TV?

Use HDMI, AirPlay, screen mirroring, or a browser on the TV. The setup guide covers the cleanest options.

What if someone disconnects?

Players can reconnect by using the same room code and their phone session.

Is this for kids?

No. Killer Party is adult fictional mystery entertainment with murder, deception, alcohol references, inheritance disputes, and poison as story themes.

Can couples share a phone?

The launch version expects one phone per player so private objectives, clues, and accusations stay separate.

Can the game be paused?

The host flow is built around act control and recovery. Final launch guidance will explain the safest pause points.

Can we replay it?

You can revisit the experience, but the mystery is strongest as a first-play party because the solution becomes known.

Will it be giftable?

The product is being packaged as a complete digital party night. Gift support is planned after the first purchase flow is smoke-tested.
